Welcome to my blog! My name is Nichole and I have two children and a loving husband and I am just trying my best to live a wholesome life. I was diagnosed with SLE Lupus 3 years ago and have been working my way towards combining the old with the new to make modern day sustainability achieveable and work toward keeping my disease at bay. Health and fitness is important as well as relationships. I like to take things and create symbiotic relationships across the board. This means that I like to find how things can work together with little interference to thrive.

In 2010 I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in both Biology and Psychology (and later received my MBA in 2022). I was planning on becoming a Pediatrician however, God seemed to have a different plan. When I graduated college the economy was not in good shape and after being wait listed and not getting accepted my first year for medical school I realized that this may not be my calling. So, instead I became an engineer and started my little family. This role has allowed me to meet some very interesting people and help get my mind into a more “creative” role. Now, I like to combine the inventiveness of engineering with the biological workings of the world to hopefully create a relationship between the two. The idea is to create a sustainable way of living with a lot less effort than it used to take and create this environment where I can keep my autoimmune at bay with less thinking (sounds pretty great right?). On top of that you add in a couple little munchkins and great friends and you have what I would qualify as “wholesome”.

This is my lifestyle blog that I have created after a lot of thought and dedication. I am hoping this blog will enlighten people and give them creative ideas to try as well as ideas to live a clean lifestyle that can not only help autoimmune but prevent it as well. I love party planning, gardening, fishing, and any other sort of outdoor recreation. I am also insanely Type A. I LOVE organization…. I’m talking lists, charts, life hacks, anything that can help keep me organized and make life easier. When you get rid of the clutter and the nonessentials you are left with what truly matters.
